Referral and Placement Information
Since 1973 Renaissance has provided quality care for the citizens of Michigan. Beginning with Renaissance House, specialized residential care has been the main focus of the services provided. Over the years, we have expanded this focus to include supported independent living programs. Assisting people either with developmental disabilities or mental illness, we primarily contract with local Community Mental Health Agencies. We currently provide services in five counties in Southeast Michigan.
Renaissance Community Homes currently provides assistance to over two hundred people who have either a mental illness or developmental disability. We provide these services in different settings like, specialized group homes, supported independent apartments and traditional households.

To obtain services from Renaissance Community Homes, a referral is made by the responsible community mental health organization. Renaissance Community Homes currently works with the following community mental health agencies:

Renaissance Community Homes currently operates 23 specialized group homes and another 20 supported living program sites, serving over 200 customers at any given time.
